Demonstrating an adept ability in the fields of construction and design architecture, Robert Boyer has spent the last 26 years seamlessly interfacing with executives and peers while expertly evaluating and executing large-scale objectives and projects. This multifaceted approach has created the foundation that provides clients with a high level of confidence.
As owner of Ideal Custom Homes, Boyer, and his team of professionals, has been building and remodeling custom, trendy homes in the communities of Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Phoenix and Carefree since 1997. Holding residential, commercial and electrical licenses, Boyer is a hands-on owner/builder who enjoys working closely with clients to develop world-class, eye-catching homes and remodels of all sizes that exceed expectations.
Originally hailing from a small town outside Montreal, Canada, Boyer grew up working on his family dairy farm bordering New York State. His carpentry and construction skills were honed, in part, from watching and working with his family all of whom excelled in the craft albeit a hobby. At the age of 18, Boyer built his first track home, a positive experience that forever shaped the course of his professional life. He later left farm life for the world of residential and commercial property construction with a pension for custom designs.
While Boyer primarily handles custom homes designs, he and his team work on commercial boutique properties that benefit from his lauded aesthetic, a reputation that is far-reaching due to his work ethic, attention to detail and personalized approach to client relations. He takes great joy in personally interfacing with clients fielding all calls and messages throughout and upon the successful completion of a project.
As a small firm, Boyer has always gained clients by word-of-mouth never through advertising. He chooses quality projects over the quantity of projects available. He actively and happily engages with new customers and enjoys longstanding relationships with past customers who have become members of the extended Ideal Custom Homes’ family.
Fluent in French, Boyer lives in Scottsdale with his wife, Kathleen. Animal lovers, the couple are involved in community advocacy including being members of Arizona Humane Society and Lost Our Home Pet Foundation as well as Adopt a Senior Program (with the City of Scottsdale) and the Phoenix Philanthropists, Children’s Phoenix Hospital, among other organizations. When he is not onsite working on custom, modern homes and remodels, Boyer enjoys spending time with his family, busing himself with the latest unique household project and watching his beloved Montreal Canadiens.
